Testimonials

Being so far sway from my family was very hard for me but you and your staff made me feel like you adopted me into the Robert Gardens Family! I never felt all alone, even though I was. You really went out of your way to make me feel "right at home!" My lease comes up December 31st and no doubt, I’m signing on for another wonderful year. Thank you again!

How time flies! Being Friday the 13th just makes me feel lucky – how fortunate Bill and I feel for having chosen Robert Gardens about seven years ago. I even remember how pleasant it was when you first "interviewed" us. Now that we both are "80" makes us even more thankful we don’t have our large farm home, the ponds and pool as well as the many acres to take care of. We feel we haven’t lost any privacy here - yet people are friendly and available. You deserve credit for setting this atmosphere - most of the time through your great news letters - and notices - and we want to thank you!

I have lived here at Robert Gardens for almost four years, and I have nothing but praise for your crew. The service is outstanding. Recently I had a series of problems and in every case June had a workman here in record time. The men were fast, courteous, and knowledgeable. Not only that, but this has been a hectic snow month. Not only does the crew keep the sidewalks and roads well salted, and streets plowed, but they also brush the snow off everyone’s car. You should be proud of them.

I just want to let you know how nice Robert Gardens North is and I really enjoy living here. I’ve been here for five years and just want you to know in case no one tells you, your staff is great. June has been great. I talk with her all the time. I just thought someone from Robert Gardens should write and tell you what a great lady she is and during problems, big ones, like thunder storms, loss of electricity, etc, she is always right on board to help tenants out. She always has a smile on her face and I now she deals with so much. Thanks for a great place to live.

What a lovely surprise to receive a "Welcome Basket!" We couldn’t believe our eyes. Thank you, thank you for thinking of us and for the most thoughtful gift!! We love our home – it’s perfect. The attention you all give to the apartments, property and things you do for the people living here is so nice. We are amazed and appreciate it so much. We love the ladies who live in our building and we truly feel right at home!! Once again thank you for making our life so nice.

I am writing this note to you as I think the staff at Robert Gardens North is exceptional. June is a wonderful office manager, always finds the time for me whether I call or stop in the office. She is a great person. George and his crew are always there when you need them and things are done the same day, whether a minor repair or my hot water heater not working. I was living at Robert Gardens South for 2 years and this was the best move I ever made. I just wanted to let you know how lucky I feel to be living here and the wonderful job everyone does.

I am a new tenant, having moved to RGN on July 1, 2007. But in this short time I have been so impressed by your staff here that I feel I must compliment you. Your staff here is the best I have ever seen. They seem to truly love their work and make living here very pleasant. Each one of them has such a great work ethic. They go about their work with such a patient, courteous and giving attitude that makes you feel like you’re the only tenant living here. Even if you’re interrupting their work they patiently tell you that they’ll be back to help you as soon a possible – and then they really do return in just a little while! In an emergency I know they would be right there for me and that makes living here seem safe. June Fuller is a wonderful asset to your organization. She is perfect at her job. She is charming, witty and gracious, but still able to be firm on the rules. That’s a hard balancing act, but she does it flawlessly. I’ve rented almost all my life and that’s how important the front desk person is – both to me as a tenant, and to you as owners. I am also very impressed by her organizational skills and her ability to provide the extra touches, like the initial information packet that provides all the information about RGN and the phone numbers a harried mover needs on hand, and the sweet welcome basket and the newsletters that make this more like a little home town rather than an impersonal apartment complex.

George & Co. do it all so effectively is wonderful; their unfailing attention to detail means immeasurably less stress in my life. But here’s the amazing part: George & Co. do it all cheerfully... and I suspect, often without much appreciation. I pressed George for a few details of tenant mannerlessness, but he just smiled and remained discreet. I’m not quite sure who would take such uncompromising service for granted, but I offered the suggestion to George that they might want to try living somewhere else for a bit. Take it from someone who’s sampled the often nonexistent maintenance policies of other landlords. Believe me when I say that maintenance can be delivered in a manner that is apathetic, surly, unorganized or just plain incompetent. So I count my blessings – all three of them – plus June, who rounds out the efficiency with a patient and listening ear. All three of them are gems – glittering beacons of relief in the snowy, icy and unspeakably frigid winter of 2003.
